How old do you need to be to hire a storage unit?
18 years old. If you are younger than 18 you will need an adult to rent the unit on your behalf.
How do I update my contact details?
You can log onto your account on our website. Just go to 'my account' in the menus, here you can change your name, address, payment card or method, email address and phone number.
Can I view possible storage options before I book?
Of course! Just make a reservation to view and we will show you anything we have available. Click here to BOOK A VIEWING
Can I park a car or van in your yard?
Only if you pay for this service. If you are visiting your storage unit you can have your vehicle outside, but you cannot leave it on site if you are not around to move it if required unless you pay for parking.
What size storage do I need?
What happens if I miss a payment or cannot pay?
Our system will remind you a few days before a payment will be made. However if for any reason you can't pay we have strict rules about over due debt. Please click here for our overdue process and charges information
Do you insure the contents of the things store?
No. We used to offer this service but because so few customers paid for this as they find our facilities incredibly secure, we no longer provide insurance. Please call us if you want us to recommend companies that do provide insurance, typically they charge £15-£70 month for £500-£5000 worth of insurance respectively. They will need a up to date contents form filling in everytime you want to move things in and out of storage too.
Why do I need to provide Personal ID (Identification)
We require ID because we follow the Self Storage industry and HM Customs & Excise code of practice that reduces criminal activity in self storage facilities. HM Customs regularly inspect our premises and check we hold identification documents of all customers.
What ID do you require?
We require photographic Identification. We ask for a drving licence or passport, we alos accept biometric residence permits for the UK.
